The F.C.T Hospitals Management Board was established in November, 2006 with the sole objective of devolving authority for the management of the 12 public hospitals under the F.C.T Administration in order to enhance their operational efficiency to deliver high quality, affordable, accessible and patient centric health care services.

The F.C.T being the seat of Government and the diplomatic community as well as a conference/events destination of the nation, demands the highest standard of health care delivery services available. In view of that as well as the vision of the F.C.T Administration to raise the status of the territory to world class standard in line with the transformation agenda of Mr. President, the Board is poised and committed to deliver unparalleled high quality secondary and tertiary health care services to the teeming residents of the F.C.T at all times.
