Kubwa General Hospital
Kubwa General Hospital is located on a piece of plot at Okitipupa Crescent by Kempe Street in Phase IV, Kubwa – Federal Capital Territory. It is one of the twelve hospitals managed by the Hospitals Management Board of the Health Service and Environment Secretariat of the Federal Capital Territory Administration.
The Hospital was commissioned in February 1990 as a Comprehensive Health Centre headed by a Nurse to deliver basically primary care to the populace. About a year or two later, the hospital nomenclature was change to General Hospital from a Comprehensive Health Centre with posting of Medical Officer to head the place as Medical Officer In-Charge for rendering essentially Maternal and Child Health care. Today, Kubwa General Hospital is hospital that functions as a secondary health care centre.
